afe 1404 is set in the heart of Belfast’s shipping industry, in one of the Titanic Quarter’s oldest buildings; The Pump House at Titanic’s Dock. The team at Cafe 1404 are passionate about our work, from preparing locally roasted coffee & loose leaf teas, to full breakfast and lunch menus, we are happy to do so, providing you with the best service. During the week not only do we serve full hot food menus, there is an array of delicious tray bakes, cakes and scones on offer.
Weekends are a more laid back affair serving a smaller menu filled with gourmet sandwiches, cakes and tray bakes & our famous pork & leek or vegetarian sausage rolls. Café 1404 is housed in an architecturally beautiful building, The Pump-House, which is part of the Dry-Dock in which Titanic stood the night before her voyage. Take a walk through the original Pump-House, and almost 50ft down to the bottom of the Dry-Dock, the only place in the world where you can stand where Titanic stood and fully grasp the size of the famous ship. An eerily humble experience enjoyed by thousands, from the world over.
